Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing at ECPI University is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, developing, and implementing faculty orientation and mentoring. This role involves facilitating overall program communication, serving as the liaison between administration, faculty, and students, and assisting in clinical coordination. Required skills include experience with Learning Management Systems, excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and time management capabilities, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc) required
- Current license in the state of Virginia required
- Must have experience with computer technology to include Learning Management Systems for remote synchronized and online blended learning curriculum delivery.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Off-site travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Two years management experience preferred
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a nursing specialty setting preferred
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Prior teaching experience preferred
