Assistant Director of Nursing

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Cedarhurst Senior Living supports leadership and management of the community’s clinical operations, ensuring residents receive high-quality care in alignment with physician directives, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives. Oversees nursing and caregiving staff, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, drives compliance, training, and continuous quality improvement, and serves as a resource for residents, families, and staff. Responsible for defining and maintaining nursing practice standards, supervising medication provision and nursing services per care plans, developing in-service education, daily rounds, participation in management decisions, resident assessments, staff supervision and retention, pharmacy oversight, documentation, and engagement with interdisciplinary resident care meetings. Promotes resident safety, wellbeing, and independence through effective communication with families and staff, and supports occupancy goals while upholding Cedarhurst values and equal opportunity employment.
