Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing for the BSN program will develop and implement faculty orientation and mentoring, facilitate communication among administration, faculty, and students, and assist in clinical coordination. This role requires a Master's degree in Nursing and a current Virginia nursing license, along with leadership and teaching experience. Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills are essential, as well as proficiency in technology for blended learning environments.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school
- Current license in the state of Virginia
- Two years management experience preferred
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a nursing specialty setting preferred
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with computer technology including Learning Management Systems
- Prior teaching experience
