Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing with overall clinical management of the facility; must hold a valid Texas nursing license and CPR certification; requires at least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting; includes infection control/prevention education and knowledge of long-term care standards. The role emphasizes building a high-performing team and culture, supporting clinical operations, and contributing to a safe, compliant long-term care environment. Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Nurse License
- Valid CPR Certification
- Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program
- Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention
- Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in infection control and prevention
- Leadership/management experience in long-term care
- CPR certification optional or preferred but beneficial
- Team-building and change-management experience
- Clinical management experience in a healthcare facility
