Job Summary

ADON responsibilities include assisting the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, supervising staff, overseeing staffing, scheduling, and unit performance, participating in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings, monitoring resident outcomes and regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will lead infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives, conduct surveillance and audits, provide ongoing staff education on infection control and outbreak response, and support staff development through hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluations. The role requires RN licensure in Wisconsin, 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in long-term care, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care

  • Infection Preventionist certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Strong knowledge of infection control standards and nursing best practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
