Assistant Director of Nursing ADON

Support the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing department services and activities. Establish and implement departmental objectives and standards in compliance with regulatory agencies while monitoring resident rounds and observation of care. Ensure sufficient and efficient staffing levels through training and the personnel process to meet daily resident needs. Ascertain that accurate communications regarding significant changes in resident status are routed to physicians and family members. Implement standards of care, policies, and procedures, and work the floor when necessary. Conduct monthly Consultant Compliance internal self-audits of quality indicators using designed audit tools. Establish effective rapport with facility staff, healthcare teams, managers, residents, family members, and visitors.
