Job Summary
Assist the Director of Nursing with management responsibilities, including weekly wound/skin rounds, coordinating total nursing service planning, and overseeing daily staffing. Maintain resident care by meeting medical needs, ensuring accurate medical record completion, and managing infection control protocols. Support compliance and staff communication while assisting with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing personnel. Requires 24-hour on-call rotation and flexible hours to address unpredictable needs. Current State RN license with minimum three years in long-term care and two years of management experience are required. Slate Valley Center is an 88-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility committed to high-quality resident outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current State RN license
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision
- Flexible hours
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of management experience
