Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for Skilled Nursing at Sylvan Shores Health and Wellness Center. Oversees nursing staff to ensure quality resident care, assists in annual budget preparation, schedules rounds to monitor care quality, maintains charting and documentation, recruits and trains staff, develops staffing plans, maintains regulatory records, evaluates residents for appropriate care, develops clinical programs, and communicates with the Medical Director. Requires RN or LVN license and graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; IP Certification preferred; 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience in long-term/geriatric settings preferred; on-call rotation participation; strong computer skills preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required)
- RN or LVN Nursing License (Required)
- Infection Control Preventionist (IP) Certification (Preferred)
- Ability to help in on call phone rotation
- One to three (1-3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing (Preferred)
- Proficient use of a computer (Preferred)
