Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Assist the Director of Nursing with management responsibilities, maintaining quality of care and coordinating total planning for nursing services. Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds, meet the medical needs of all residents, and ensure accurate, timely completion of medical records. Oversee daily staffing, manage infection control protocols, and support compliance through effective communication across all nursing levels. Assist with interviewing, hiring, and orienting new staff while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory. Maintain flexibility with work schedules to address unpredictable needs, including a 24-hour on-call rotation. Requires current State RN license, minimum three years in Long-Term Care, and two years of management experience.
