Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee coordination and supervision of patient care across the home health and hospice setting. Responsibilities include developing and initiating individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and caregivers, supervising clinical personnel, ensuring care is delivered per physician orders, coordinating case conferences, reviewing patient information and clinical courses, assigning personnel to cases, and supporting quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives. Requires leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating in-service and continuing education, adherence to professional standards, and active involvement in community relations and regulatory compliance. Requires RN licensure and demonstrated management experience within home health/hospice environments; strong communication skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse with current licensure to practice in the State of Oklahoma (RN)
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- Ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of business management, state and federal regulations pertaining to home health and hospice
