Job Summary
Plan, organize, develop, manage, and direct the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Work alongside the Director of Nursing, Administrator, and Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care for residents. Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies while maintaining established standards of practice set forth by facility administration and nursing procedures. Maintain current RN licensure with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility. Full-time Monday through Friday shifts available with negotiable salary.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work
- licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows
- two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility
- preferably in long term care
- basic computer skills
- ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
