Job Summary
Coordinate the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department by assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing operations in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain the highest degree of quality of care for residents while enforcing health, sanitary, and infection control policies. Ensure adherence to facility administration standards and Nursing Policies and Procedures. This full-time role requires a current, unencumbered RN license and at least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in long-term care. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with negotiable salary and includes opportunities to grow into a Director of Nursing role.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work
- licensed as an LPN if the state you operate in allows
- two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility or other related healthcare facility
- preferably in long term care
- basic computer skills
- ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
