Job Summary
Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with Medicare standards. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols while collaborating with healthcare professionals to create patient care plans. Monitor staff performance, manage department budgets including staffing and supplies, and participate in strategic planning to improve outcomes. Requires a BSN, current RN license, and one year of supervising experience. Full-time day shift with on-call rotation in a long-term care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of education
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Supervising experience: 1 year
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- RN (Required)
Desired Qualifications
