Job Summary
Assist in directing the nursing services department in a long-term care facility, including planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and monitoring nursing programs; develop and monitor infection control, QA/QI (QAPI) activities, and orientation for new staff; participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, and coordination with resident services; schedule rounds, participate in admissions and physician visits, monitor medication administration, and ensure regulatory compliance; require RN licensure in Alabama and at least two years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility; strong administrative and leadership skills for nursing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse by the State of Alabama
- Minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
