Job Summary
Supervise and delegate nursing activities while helping the director of nursing manage clinical operations and develop care plans. Evaluate performance by the nursing department, recommend improvements, and conduct patient rounds to address complaints. Monitor and train the nursing staff. As an admissions nurse, serve as the first point of contact for residents entering the facility, collecting medical information, ensuring insurance paperwork is in order, and conducting admission assessments. Requires two years of long-term care experience, an Illinois-registered RN license, and proficiency with PointClickCare.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in long-term care, preferably as ADON
- REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in the State of Illinois and in good standing
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
