Job Summary
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides nursing management support, ensuring 24-hour nursing coverage, assisting the DON with staffing needs, supervising in-service training, delegating authority to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors, overseeing admissions, medication administration, and direct resident care, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while coordinating with nursing leadership to uphold quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Must possess, as a minimum, a degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- BSN degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility required
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred
