Job Summary
Plan, develop, and evaluate nursing department services while supervising staff in the Director of Nursing's absence. Establish objectives and standards for compliance with regulatory agencies, monitor resident rounds, and ensure efficient staffing levels to meet daily resident needs. Accurately route significant status changes to physicians and family members, implement care policies, and conduct monthly internal self-audits of quality indicators. Work the floor when necessary and maintain effective rapport with facility staff, healthcare teams, and residents.
Required Qualifications
