Job Summary
Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical services while developing and coordinating ongoing education for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Lead orientation programs, monitor clinical practices for CMS and state regulatory compliance, and conduct audits to ensure documentation accuracy. Review incident reports to identify risk areas, support infection prevention initiatives, and assist with survey preparation and corrective action plans. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction. Provide coaching and mentorship to nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and assist in developing facility policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- Previous leadership experience as an ADON, RN Supervisor, Nurse Educator, Infection Preventionist, or similar nursing leadership role
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state requirements, and survey processes
- Experience with clinical education, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze clinical data and implement effective improvement strategies
- Passion for resident-centered care and developing healthcare professionals
