Job Summary
Manage training, development, and performance of assigned nursing staff while mentoring teams and improving care systems. Perform assessments to develop individualized plans of care, monitor care delivery, and delegate tasks according to licensure and skill levels. Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and County regulations, identify unsafe situations, and model effective communication among residents, families, and staff. Requires a current Wisconsin RN license, two years in long-term care, and CPR certification. Full-time days schedule with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Licensed in any U.S state and eligible for Wisconsin licensure by reciprocity
- At least 2 years experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Sufficient infection control knowledge
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire clinical teams
- English literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- CPR certified
- Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements
