Job Summary
Oversee the nursing department operations, provide leadership to nursing staff, develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans, monitor staff performance, ensure resident rights and HIPAA confidentiality, and promote a positive work environment for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Previous DON or ADON experience
- Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B
- Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
- MDS/Care Plans familiarity
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- HIPAA compliance experience
