Job Summary
Lead nursing operations as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). Oversee resident care programs including MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control. Manage nursing staff by hiring, training, evaluating, assigning, and delegating duties based on census and budget needs. Ensure accurate documentation and up-to-date resident records. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants. Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources; uphold infection control measures. Requires a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing, with strong leadership/management experience and a geriatric/long-term care background. Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards is essential. Required Qualifications
- Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Understanding of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
