Job Summary
As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), provide leadership in staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance. Lead staffing support, oversee resident care programs including MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and infection control; manage nursing staff through hiring, training, evaluation, assignment, and delegation; ensure accurate documentation; collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to design individualized care plans; ensure timely access to equipment and resources; uphold infection control measures. Requires licensure as a nurse, strong leadership and management experience, a geriatric/long-term care background, a restorative care philosophy, and knowledge of nursing home regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
- Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards
