Job Summary
As Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Country Meadows/Ecumenical, provide day-to-day clinical oversight and hands-on leadership to support resident well-being and a collaborative care team. Responsible for direct nursing services as needed, head-to-toe resident assessments, quality-of-care monitoring, and ensuring care plans are communicated and followed. Lead staff supervision, participate in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations; coordinate staffing with the Director of Nursing; ensure regulatory compliance, infection control, and accurate documentation; collaborate with dining, therapy, and other disciplines to enhance resident experience. Requires current RN or LPN license, 2–4 years of clinical nursing in long-term care or similar settings, supervisory experience preferred, CPR certification, and proficiency with electronic health records (PointClickCare). Full-time dayshift with rotating weekends/holidays and on-call needs, located in Harrisburg, PA (on-site). EOEOE.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of employment
- 2–4 years of clinical nursing experience in assisted living, personal care, or long-term care
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- CPR certification required
- Proficiency with electronic health records (e.g., PointClickCare) and basic computer systems
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
