Job Summary
Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the long-term care facility. Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care. Perform administrative duties including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting. Ensure licensed practical and/or registered nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, medications, and safety equipment are available and utilized properly for each shift to maintain quality care. Requires an Illinois unencumbered RN or LPN license with a nursing degree and two years of supervisor healthcare experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- graduate of an approved LPN program with a pharmacology course
- current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a RN
- current Illinois unencumbered license to practice as a LPN
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a supervisor healthcare role
