Job Summary
Assist the Director of Maintenance Services in overall operation of the Maintenance Department to ensure facility is maintained safely and in compliance with applicable standards; duties include supporting maintenance management and applying knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, blueprints, and building codes to maintain the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must have, as a minimum, 3 year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position.
- Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
