Assistant Director of Housekeeping

Job Summary
Oversee housekeeping operations across multiple properties, supervising housekeeping and laundry teams, coordinating with vendors and outside contractors, and managing daily, weekly, and quarterly assignments. Lead recruitment and interviews, monitor budgeting and cost control, ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, and maintain five-star service quality. Serve as acting Director of Housekeeping in their absence and drive training, performance evaluations, and guest satisfaction initiatives across all public areas, guestrooms, and supporting departments.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish Preferred
- 2-year previous housekeeping management experience in a Forbes five-star hotel required OR 2-year previous luxury hotel operations experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description preferred.
