Job Summary
Conduct daily operations for Front Office, Guest Services, Bell Services, PBX, and Concierge to maximize room revenue and occupancy while ensuring union compliance. Lead and mentor the FOH team, drive continuous performance standards, and ensure responsible personnel coverage at all times. Manage guest journeys from arrival to departure, maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international trends, and pass on-site FLSD training tests. Build a cohesive team embodying the Generator brand culture and communicate goals effectively across all departments.
Required Qualifications
- Union Experience
- Passionate for hospitality and the youth travel market
- Passionate for delivering excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, mentor, train and develop crew members
- Fluent in English
- Hands-on experience in a previous Union Hotel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work as reasonably needed in line with business requirements
- Previous experience working in the hospitality industry and in a similar role
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Conversant in at least one Property Management System
- Attend FLSD training and pass on-site test for property
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with all union, local legislation and regulations pertaining to your department
- Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) at the start of employment
