Job Summary
Manage daily accounting and finance operations for Black Desert Resort by overseeing general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting. Supervise and develop the Finance team while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls across Accounts Payable, Receivable, and cash management. Analyze monthly statements, forecasts, and variances to partner with operational leaders on labor costs and profitability. Coordinate audits, prepare budgets, and support system implementations. Serve as Acting Director of Finance during absences. This role offers full-time, year-round scheduling with a competitive salary of $100,000 to $130,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of five years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
- Strong understanding of hotel accounting, Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI), and GAAP
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls
- Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems, point-of-sale systems, and accounting software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing accounting or finance professionals
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining exceptional accuracy and meeting deadlines
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential financial information
