Job Summary
Manage the accounting department by executing payroll, income audits, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance while ensuring data integrity. Drive financial planning, budgeting, and cash management through monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, reviewing variances and analyzing operating results to recommend cost reductions and profit improvements. Supervise the year-end audit process, coordinate external auditor visits, and prepare accurate financial reports for leadership, owners, and partners. Check appropriation requests against approved budgets to enforce accounting controls and ensure timely, concise reporting for the overall Resort.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Hospitality background
- Experience with complex properties
- Experience with food & beverage finance
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience and confidence presenting to ownership
