Job Summary
Assist the Chief Engineer in managing day-to-day operations of the Engineering department, lead a team of maintenance engineers, and coordinate preventive maintenance programs. Oversee repair and upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems while responding to guest service requests. Support capital improvement projects and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Candidates should have experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance, knowledge of technical systems, and be committed to high standards of property maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in hotel or commercial building maintenance
- 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Hands-on capabilities in systems maintenance
- Organized, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
Desired Qualifications
- Certified or licensed in a technical trade (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing) preferred
