Job Summary
Assistant Director of Engagement in the Office for Socially Engaged Practice oversees administrative leadership for design/build initiatives, faculty/staff engagement, and community partnerships. Responsibilities include managing strategic initiatives and interdisciplinary teams, supporting faculty and student work, coordinating administrative and financial operations with community partners, and developing and disseminating community-engaged work. The role requires collaboration across university entities, experience in community-engaged design, program coordination, budget management, and strong communication skills to advance equitable, community-centered projects within WashU and the St. Louis region.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in Architecture, urban design, planning and/or community-engaged development program management
- Bachelor's degree
