Job Summary
Lead hospitality operations at Maplewood Estates, coordinating resident events, special functions, and campus gatherings while overseeing catering services for private meetings. Manage and develop a team of servers through coaching and training, ensuring dining rooms and event logistics consistently reflect high standards of service excellence. Collaborate with culinary leadership to create memorable dining experiences and build strong relationships with residents and families by responding to feedback. Assist with scheduling, staffing, and operational planning to support efficient service delivery. Promote a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork throughout the department.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–5 years of experience in hospitality management, catering, event planning, restaurant management, or a related field
- Experience leading and developing service teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
