Job Summary
Lead marketing and communications efforts for Khan Lab School, serving as the dedicated marketing leader responsible for brand stewardship, content strategy, and cross-channel outreach. Responsibilities include directing an outside marketing agency, building and maintaining a library of branded templates, leveraging AI tools daily, managing SEO and website optimization, executing digital marketing across owned/earned/paid channels, developing enrollment-focused communications, overseeing student interns, and delivering quarterly performance reports to leadership. The role requires collaboration across departments, strong writing/editing, data fluency, vendor management, and the ability to translate analytics into strategic direction for enrollment growth. A Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in marketing/communications are required; experience with independent schools or mission-driven organizations is desirable. Proficiency with social media, email marketing, CMS platforms, SEO, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tool integration is expected, along with the ability to produce professional content on campus and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive marketing and communications experience required.
