Job Summary
Assistant Director of KiddyCity Daycare Hampton will oversee an age-appropriate program, curriculum, and activities; conduct bi-annual child assessments; support Administrators and staff; manage enrollment; supervise staff; assist with daily meals and office operations; communicate effectively with the team; and implement strategies to grow enrollment. The role requires licensing/certification to perform the duties, experience with children, and strong leadership with a background in early childhood education or CDA credential.
Required Qualifications
- Licensing/certification to perform this role
- Past experience working with children
- Associate’s degree in education is preferred and/or CDA required
- Demonstrated experience managing a team
- Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education
