Job Summary
Identify, qualify, and solicit local catering opportunities for the property and drive catering revenue growth. Manage and train Catering Sales associates on-property, close and contract local catering and social business, and ensure smooth turnover to service delivery. Maximize revenue through up-selling of packages and creative food and beverage offerings; implement brand service strategies and standards; build relationships with clients, events, vendors, and internal hotel departments; develop catering plans, budgets, forecasts, and promotions; ensure exceptional customer service and seamless turnover from sales to operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
