Job Summary
Lead program evaluation efforts for the Bronx Asthma Program within NYC Health Department, including monitoring surveillance data, overseeing data analyses to evaluate progress and outcomes, developing/implementing IT systems to support operations, supervising research and evaluation staff, responding to data requests, and coordinating with internal/external partners. Represent the program at meetings to share insights and advocate for program goals; develop and execute data dissemination through reports and presentations. Preferred skills include commitment to social justice/equity, strong written/oral communication, organizational ability to manage multiple projects, leadership and supervisory experience, applied public health program experience, and expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis; advanced degrees in physical, biological, environmental, or social sciences and public health are required for advancement within the role.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental science or public health (Assignment Level I)
- Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with appropriate experience for Assignment Level II and above (with at least a Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience)
- One year of supervisory/administrative or research capacity for Assignment Level II and above
