Assistant Director, Nursing

Oversees and manages hospital operations and patient care in the absence of leadership, providing direction to supervisors and teams to achieve facility objectives. Leads departments, communicates and builds consensus, and ensures high-quality, patient- and family-centered care within a compliant, professional environment. Demonstrates professional practice standards, supports evidence-based and ethical care, guides performance reviews and hiring decisions, and monitors resources to maintain optimal staffing and regulatory compliance with JC, CMS, NYS DOH, HIPAA, and related standards.
