Job Summary
Assistant Director of Program Operations for the NIA Community Services Network, overseeing school- and center-based programming across NYC sites. Responsible for coordinating specialized programs (including Cornerstone), launching new initiatives, managing data collection and funder reporting, supporting program progress reports, coordinating program events, supervising the Program Supervisor team in the Director's absence, and ensuring program compliance with fire safety, CPR/First Aid, and DOH SACC licensing. Requires SAC credential or equivalent; strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills; on-site, with evening/weekend availability. Located at NIA main office and program sites in New York City.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in community and youth services, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisor capacity
- SAC credential or equivalent educational experience required
- Familiarity with DYCD, OCFS, DOH, and DOE requirements is preferred
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and team-building skills
- Strong public speaking and writing skills
- Ability to work independently, assess priorities, take initiative, be flexible, and thrive under pressure while working on multiple tasks and projects
- Must be available to maintain a full-time work schedule Monday through Friday, with on-site presence at the NIA main office and program sites; evening and weekend hours required for supervision needs, meetings, and special events
- Must be computer proficient and skilled in managing multiple administrative tasks
