Assistant Director - Marketing (Banking)

Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing activations for Moody’s Banking segment, owning content strategy, activation narratives, and asset development. Collaborate with subject matter experts and demand generation teams to drive pipeline growth and revenue objectives. Translate complex banking and regulatory concepts into clear, customer-focused content (white papers, blogs, webinars, case studies) while maintaining Moody’s brand standards. Design multi-channel campaigns across digital and traditional channels, guide branding teams, and leverage performance data to optimize engagement and conversion. Stay informed on banking market trends and regulatory developments, contribute to innovative approaches using AI tools to improve efficiency, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing
- BA in Journalism, Finance, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience designing content for marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Experience working within financial services or banking is preferred
- Ability to translate complex banking and regulatory concepts into clear, customer-focused content
- Ability to lead end-to-end development and execution of marketing activations
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across product, sales, marketing, and SMEs
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Knowledge of AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness
