Job Summary
Assistant Director responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, and, in the Director’s absence, sole responsibility for the school. Supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children; accountable for operating in accordance with company and licensing standards; fosters an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents; recruits, selects, and retains quality staff; contributes to profitability and overall school success; role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and ensuring a positive image of the company in the community.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility
- Associates degree in ECE or related field id preferred
- Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements
- North Carolina Director Credential level 1, 2, or 3 is required
