Job Summary
Assist the Director in overseeing daily preschool operations, coaching and mentoring teachers, and ensuring safety, licensing compliance, and a high-quality learning environment. Lead with the "Hug First, Then Teach" philosophy, support daily curriculum implementation across classrooms, ensure developmentally appropriate lesson plans, foster partnerships with families, manage staff scheduling and evaluations, support enrollment efforts, and contribute to a positive school culture centered on safety, education, teamwork, and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and health and safety regulations
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Associate's degree
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Experience coaching teachers
- Knowledge of Quality Rated standards and best practices in early childhood education
