Job Summary
Assist the Academy Director in all aspects of academy operations, including human resources, marketing, customer relations, financial management, quality control, and facility oversight. Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and assume full responsibility for academy management in the Director's absence. Perform classroom teacher duties during assigned times, maintain professional communication with parents and guardians, support enrollment inquiries and tours to drive enrollment growth, assist in staff recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance appraisals, supervise staff, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and Kiddie Academy SOPs, manage records and documentation, participate in staff meetings and open houses, and support budget tracking and resource management. Must lift a minimum of 40 pounds and meet all state education/experience requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Arts degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center
- Must meet all state minimum requirements for education and experience
- Must be able to consistently lift a minimum of 40 pounds to at least waist height throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Education/Child Development
- 2+ years of experience in a licensed childcare center
- Must meet state minimum requirements for education and experience
