Job Summary
Assistant Director at Goodstart Cessnock leads and supports the centre team in delivering high-quality early learning and care, mentors staff, and manages the centre in the Centre Director’s absence. Works to implement the Goodstart Practice Guide, engage families and the local community, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to centre operations in a not-for-profit setting; requires leadership experience in early childhood, a relevant qualification (ACECQA approved), and a NSW Working with Children Check. Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Current NSW Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
- Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
- Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
