Job Summary

As Assistant Director for Mental Health Promotion, develop and deliver evidence-based mental health education and programming for all Miami (Oxford) students, using a growth-mindset and Stepped Care Model; collaborate with OSW staff and Student Counseling Service to coordinate peer-delivered QPR suicide prevention trainings, advise student organizations on mental health initiatives, analyze institutional survey data to guide programming, oversee assessment methods and reporting, manage programming budgets, and participate as a full team member to advance campus emotional wellness, reduce stigma, and promote help-seeking behaviors. Requires advanced degree in health education/public health/social work/counseling and several years of relevant experience; position involves occasional nights/weekends and is not a clinical role.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in health education, public health, social work, counseling, or a related field and at least two (2) years of experience with health promotion and prevention programming
  • OR a Masters Degree in health education, public health, social work, counseling, or a related field and at least one (1) year of experience with health promotion and prevention programming
