Job Summary
Oversee contract obligations, daily operations, and service delivery across adult shelter, housing, and outreach programs while ensuring adherence to funder policies and agency standards. Provide direct supervision to Program Managers and Supervisors, conduct mandatory house meetings, and manage onboarding, training, and performance reviews. Respond immediately to resident crises, lead de-escalation efforts, and oversee risk protocols. Serve as the formal point of contact for resident complaints and hearings, conducting internal investigations as assigned. Strengthen relationships with external community resources and funding bodies, representing the program formally during the Program Director's absences. Coordinate case conferencing, maintain accurate records, and monitor staffing schedules for full program coverage. Requires a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in shelter, housing, or human services operations
- Extensive experience in secure or residential settings
- Deep knowledge of behavioral dynamics
- Deep knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Deep knowledge of harm reduction
- Deep knowledge of Housing First models
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle available for work use
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively during crisis situations
- Demonstrated ability to manage progressive disciplinary procedures
