Job Summary
Direct the Greek Life community by ensuring alignment with university mission and coordinating service for 34 national organizations across four governing bodies. Develop and implement educational and social programming for individuals and chapters while managing student learning outcomes and assessment. Advise registered student organizations on leadership development, career readiness, and community engagement, and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Respond to emergencies as needed and foster collegial, harmonious relationships with staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Communication, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution of Higher Education
- At least two years of professional experience in a Greek Life office or working with a fraternity/sorority national headquarters staff
- Experience planning, facilitating, coordinating, and implementing new member education programming events and workshops
- Current knowledge of trends, practices and planning/programming related to fraternity and sorority life in the areas of chapter & leadership development, new member programming, community service, health & wellness, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and project management skills
- Ability to work well with students and colleagues
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to fulfill position responsibilities
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing and facilitating educational programming efforts related to fraternity and sorority new member experience(s), risk management efforts (i.e. alcohol and hazing prevention, health & safety, etc.), career readiness, and community engagement
- Experience planning large scale events such as community service projects and programs
- Experience advising student leaders in fraternity and sorority life or registered student organizations
