Job Summary
The Assistant Director will lead the Center for Global Research and Internship Program (GRIP) and will be responsible for facilitating global research opportunities, internships, and study abroad programs, thus enhancing student competitiveness for graduate programs. Responsibilities include identifying and promoting opportunities for students, assisting with application processes, organizing workshops, building partnerships with international institutions, providing personalized guidance and managing scholarships for students. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree, over three years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to forge partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in any field
- 3+ years of experience in international education, study abroad, or a related field
- Knowledge of global higher education systems and research practices
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with international institutions and organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in a second language preferred
