Job Summary
Execute the full volunteer engagement cycle for hundreds of class-based volunteers celebrating 50th Reunions, managing recruitment, orientation, training, and recognition. Plan, support, and deliver signature programming including lectures, panels, and tours during Reunion weekend while collaborating with campus partners. Set clear expectations for the Office Specialist, cultivate relationships with volunteers and colleagues, and copy-edit engagement communications. Conduct ongoing analysis of KPIs to inform annual performance goals. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of alum relations experience, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in alum relations or similar constituent relations role
- Ideally in a liberal arts college setting
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and program planning skills
- Competence with CRM databases, Google Suite Applications (or similar), video conferencing, and other standard office technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends and occasionally travel
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in event management or a related field
- Experience working in a higher education or fundraising environment
- Knowledge of trends in alumni relations, donor engagement, and nonprofit events
- A creative and forward-thinking approach to event planning and problem-solving
