Job Summary
Assistant Director for a Texas early childhood education center overseeing daily operations, staff coaching and development, conducting tours that convert prospective families into enrollments, building relationships with current and prospective families, ensuring licensing compliance, maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment, and supporting employee accountability and performance; requires Texas Child Care Director's License, 3+ years of childcare leadership, experience supervising staff, enrollment/tours/retention experience, licensing knowledge, strong communication and problem-solving skills, professional appearance and positive attitude, and readiness to assume higher levels of leadership; includes submitting a 2–3 minute video introduction.
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas Child Care Director's License (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of childcare leadership experience
- Experience supervising teachers and support staff
- Strong knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing standards
- Experience with enrollment, tours, and family retention
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead by example and hold staff accountable
