Job Summary
Assistant Director at Discovery Point Child Care Center responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment and delivering a quality education program. In the director’s or owner’s absence, you will oversee effective center operations, recruit and manage staff, set enrollment and revenue objectives, maintain ongoing communication with parents, and manage center costs. Requires experience as an assistant director in a licensed child care center, supervisory experience, CDL or willingness to obtain, CPR/Fire Safety training, knowledge of licensing rules and early childhood curriculum, and ability to meet state requirements. Positions available across several centers in Lawrenceville, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as an assistant director in a licensed child care center
- Previous supervisory experience or experience providing work direction
- Must have or be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- CPR/Fire Safety training or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of childcare licensing rules and regulations
- Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum
- CDL Required or must be willing to obtain
- Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Director
